speaking of patient hitters, what are NoMass’s thoughts on former pal Nick Johnson for the new DH?
his career .402 OBP looks awfully tantalizing for the 2 spot…
Would love to see Nick Johnson back in the stripes…that trade to get Vazquez sucked, then Vazquez is shipped off to get Johnson. Just a stupid series of trades. When you look at Johnson’s value v. what he was paid and then compare it to Giambi…Giambi had three better years with the bat but his fielding was horrid.
