NoMaas photoshops just haven’t been quite the same since Torre left.
Z-dub November 17, 2009 23:35

Some classics right there!
Mariano Rivera is Great November 18, 2009 00:48
The photoshop here is brilliant except I still can’t fathom the disrespect showed to Mariano during that offseason. Clearly, he is great and beyond reproach.
My personal recent favorite was the Joe Girardi Rain Man one from a couple of weeks ago. Made me spit my coffee.
yeah yeah November 18, 2009 01:28
best was image of girardi smoking crack in regards to not designating cody ransom for assignment

Cool feature. But in general the redesign sucks.

boston sucks November 18, 2009 12:51
some things never changed with boston fans.

I think the Mariano and the vault of gold is probably your best ever. Didn’t you have a Boston Massacre one commemorating the 5-game sweep at Fenway from a few years back?
Frank Ueno November 18, 2009 15:17
Mo and the gold is one of my favs too.

Okay, I am a bit new to No Maas. Exactly what does the Kool Aid guy mean?
EverythingsBiggerInTiexiera. November 20, 2009 11:49
the kool-ade is comes from the term “drinking the kool-ade”.. meaning that if you “drink from the kool-ade”, you can justify anything the Sox do, even if it is more rediculous than what other teams are doing.
Roy Hammer November 20, 2009 15:19
Wow….I guess Jonestown is a long time ago..
“Drinking the Kool-Aid” is a morbid reference to hundreds if not thousands of people drinking arsenic laced kool-aid because their cult leader, the Reverend Jim Jones told them to. They drank something that would kill themselves and even had their childrendo it as well, knowing the consequences.
It has since been used to denote someones blind, unquestioning following of another person or organization, even if it means their own demise. Basically it denotes mindless stupidity.
I have spoken… Look it up kids…
Kevin S. November 20, 2009 16:06
Actually, they drank Flavor-Aid at Jonestown, but yeah, that’s what the Kool-Aid reference is to.
Jimbo November 20, 2009 20:17
Oh, I am plenty old enough to remember the Rev. Jim Jones. I just wanted to be sure I understood the subtlety that our No Maas Gods were using.
Thanks guys.

That Mariano one was embarrassing then and is embarrassing now. It certainly shouldn’t be celebrated.
