They should split every start. Alternating 5 & 4 innings pitched per start, this is a sure fire way to get em both their innings and giving the BP a rest every 5 days or so. If a starter goes down no need to panic and allow Mitre to give up 6 runs in 2.1 innings, all you gotta do is shift Joba and Phil each into a rotation spot.
