Hughes on auto-pilot in Oakland

7.1 IP, 1 H, 10 K, 2 BB -- and he's the Yankees 5th starter!
This is a reminder that NY fans need to be patient with young pitching. The early years of a pitcher don't move in straight trends.
This is also a reminder that West Coast games often cause late updates, as some of us have other responsibilities and require sleep.
*Props to Stringfellow Hawke, Louis Winthorpe III, Michael Knight, Mick Shrimpton, Reginald Cornelius III, and Larry King's wife's sister for also contributing to this post.

The bite on Phil’s cutter was almost as good as me.
By the end of the season, he might move all the way up to 4th starter!
Who aside Ted Lilly were we impatient with in the last 10 years?
Two good starts. We’ll see how the rest of the season plays out.
They were impatient with me. Stupid Arizona desert.
Um, hello?
That game was worth staying up to watch. There’s something more satisfing about watching a farmhand dominate a lineup. (Not that watching CC or AJ do it is somehow un-fun). Also, his mom is kinda hot,
Senor AJ showed me photos of the Mrs. Hughes with a cream pie!
NoMaas, I love you guys, but did you really need 6 people (7 if you include LK’s wife’s sister) to contribute to a post that was just three sentences and a photoshop?
Hey remember that time this website was ridiculing the idea that Hughes was the better choice for the rotation over Joba?
Better yet, remember when this site had an active forum with smart baseball people?
Better yet, remember when I was banging that she-male stripper while I was still married?? That was kinda hot.
Actually I remember the previous forum being a coffee klatch of jerks. They acted like internet A-holes and attacked anyone who hadn’t posted 2000 times whether the post was valid or stupid.
Hey remember the time where Joba was wasting away in the bullpen? Oh wait, that’s right now. No one is complaining about Phil Hughes being a starter…. in fact I’m sure every single person at NoMaas (even the ones that voted for Joba to be 5th starter) want and expect Hughes to be a good starter. The worry has nothing to do with Phil. It only has to do with Joba and the Yankees horrendous handling of him.
…. not to mention NoMaas staff actually preferred Hughes over Joba… I seem to remember the time that Brendan was a completely ignorant moron.
