I’ll shed some wisdom on you guys here. Some players get on streaks, and what separates the good ones from the average ones is an ability to make the streaks good ones. The numbers back that up for pitchers, too. I’ve been around a lot of ball parks and I can spot talent with the best of the Moneyball guys. Good hands and good fastballs make for good streaks, that’s a truth from way back on the dirt fields.
