maybe he’s just had diarrhea for the last two starts.
everything’s under control; situation normal. we had a slight weapons malfunction, but uh, everything’s perfectly all right now. We’re fine. We’re all fine here now, thank you……How are you?
NoMaas managed a photoshop without any sexual content. well done, guys! this is ACTUALLY FUNNY! I am impressed – keep up this level of work and you might just win me back on a daily basis instead of weekly…
Two. Starts. Jesus christ. How about we give the guy who’s got 10 years of solid or better pitching in both leagues a couple months before throwing him off the island?

Nice work. Just wanted to get that in before the whining idiots started their bullshit again

Epic photoshop. Nice work.
Now – someone wake me up from the Vasquez nightmare.

His performance today would have translated well to a 7 IP, 2 ER game in the NL. I think that’s the league he belongs in.
HAVING SAID THAT, I still feel like he’ll be a more than serviceable 4th starter with a few sparks of greatness.

If he struggles at Oakland then I will be concerned. Otherwise just chalk it up to one of the 51 inevitable losses that occur over a season.
JoeThunder April 15, 2010 05:59
We made it pretty far w/ just 3 starters last season. This is just a hiccup in the road.
Butcher April 15, 2010 07:50
CC started slow last season too. Not saying he’s CC, but it could just be a slow start. Some guys just take longer to get it going.
If he struggles into next month then I’ll be worried.

Who is this? What’s your operating number?
Andy Pettitte April 15, 2010 13:23
No worries, I am winning 20 this year. I can also smoke outside in the rain without an umbrella with my hands tied behing my back.

The funny thing is that Javvy thinks he’s just getting booed because of 2004 and not because he’s sucked in both his starts since coming back.
D April 15, 2010 14:50
hes not cut out of big games or big teams. we should have known by 2004 and by what ozzie guillen said about him.
MattNC April 15, 2010 15:10
LOL at Al Leiter saying Vazquez “could win 23 games this year”. This ain’t the NL.
John Kruk April 15, 2010 15:47
CC is gonna win 30 this year.

Javy should make the next commercial for “snickers”, maybe he is hungry in every start……

NL Trash.

Javy’s lost in my beard. He’ll find his way out if he keeps moving towards the light. Day starts only for the time being.
