This is pretty much as awesome as possible. He is pretty much as awesome as possible.
6 man rotation with Joba?
He pitch beautifully tonight. Is amazing to watch him grow.
I just thang God. Whatever happens to him just thank God. Only the Lord knows you know.
Beast. Mode.
I still remember him throwing a gem against Texas (I think?) a few years ago only to have to leave due to an injury. I remember thinking then “Wow, the hype was justified on this guy if he keeps this up”.
The guy has got it all: heat, composure and a developing cutter.
Hey, where’d you get the 4.85 h/9? Someone else had it at 5.07 earlier.
He really does look great lately… his pitching… not him personally, he’s got pirahana mouth
I like Brandon Inge a lot. Brandon Inge I like, you I like Brandon Inge, good looking player, plays a lot of positions, I like Brandon Inge, I like Brandon Inge.
I’ll be just as good in the fifth slot next year.
Phil The Hammer Hughes.
HES A STARTAR !!! WHATS JOBA PETTITE GOT TO DO WITH THIS ? PHILS WON 200 GAMES HES GONNA BE IN THE HALL OF FAME !!!.
Top of tha ahwar, heres the minkman, back aftah this
From a Navy man’s POV this is the most epic f@#%ing thing I have ever seen.
Phil Hughes – the legend continues.
It’s been like 30 something innings since he’s allowed a HR…that’s pretty sick.
…he’s cute
phil “hughes talkin to me?” is a beast right now. it’s not even the nastiness of the pitches, but also a lot of pinpoint control and painting corners – which is not something that most young guys are all that good at / can even be taught. bases loaded last night, only a small lead, good hitter at the plate – no nerves at all and gets out of it easy. a kid with this stuff and confidence is something special. gotta give girardi credit on this one – alot of divided feelings coming out of spring training on the decision to start hughes but now he’s unstoppable and joba is back to throwing 98 and dominating. turned out to be a good call so far. although i’m pretty sure the improvement in both is at least partially caused by getting the opportunity to watch kei igawa during spring training and having dave eiland repeatedly say: “dont do that.”
He was pitching in Texas and I believe had a no-no going into the 7th when he pulled his hamstring. He looks now like he did then….
Remember when he was Phillip Hughes?
NERRRRDDSSSSS!!!!!
Imagine how good he’d look holding down teh 7th inning??? DAMN!!!
Good thing we didn’t trade him for Santana.
Cy Young candidate?
I like the hitters…
Why didn’t we trade him for Roy ? Is Michael Kay really doin’ kim jones?
I miss to do de casshing for Fil Hooghs. I do no lie plain in Canada. Is col and no pretty girl like Jeter girlfriens. Pleass traa me to de Mess
I feel a need… A NEED FOR SPEED!!!
It pleasure to close out game with no save. I say it wonder phil. You see wut I did dere?
