While perusing our community forum, we came across this post linking to a Washington Post sports blog. According to the article, MLB "expert" analyst and white-haired casanova Steve Phillips said on WFAN that the Nationals should trade super-phenom Stephen Strasburg for Houston's Roy Oswalt.
But let me ask you this: Do you think that Strasburg is going to be Roy Oswalt in his career?"
And even if he is, if I think that I want Roy Oswalt to help me win this year, you know what? I'm one of the guys, I make that deal..
So this got us thinking...what would it take for the Yankees to get Strasburg?
Peter Gammons has probably put together a package deal from Boston thats based around Darnell McDonald and a returning Bryce Florie.
What? Oh my god. What? What would the Nationals do with Roy Oswalt? They’re lucky to be sitting at .500.
No doubt the Phillies will pick him up mid-season for an injured Brad Lidge and Harry Kales’ ashes.
Why oh why can’t Steve Phillips still be running an MLB team? It would have to be so much fun being a GM and being able to get him on the phone.
Other GM: Steve, I’d like to trade an overpriced player that was good 5 years ago for your best player.

Steve Phillips is a man who believes that a pitcher who pitches the eighth inning is more important than one who pitches 1-7. Logic will not work with this man!
