The boy who cried wolf

You know, those pitches were outside, but when you complain about every called strike you've seen in your career, no one cares.

David is just trying to fill in the void left by Youkilis.
I think that is referring to the size of the baby that he and Manny tried for years to have together culminating in Manny being busted for fertility drugs
Paul O’Niell says hello.
In that 2nd pic is if Ortiz is explaining how fat his wife is.
At one point early in the game McCarver said something so inane even Buck made fun of him, saying, “I think it was Ben Franklin who first said that.” Anybody else catch that?
McCarver said you want players “to make the regular look spectacular, not make the spectacular look regular.”
I didn’t mess that order up. I want to be he actually meant it that way.
It was more of, “make the routine plays spectacularly, and not the spectacular plays routinely.” Still sounds as dumb.
And I can’t remember how many times John Lackey was described as “gritty.” Not that I was surprised.
My 10-year old brother and I couldn’t stop laughing at the FOX commentators. In fact, after the first inning, my bro said, “Are these those really bad announcers that you keep mentioning? Why can’t they just get better ones?”
That was a strike…I know it was a strike. When me and Joe Morgan see strikes, we know they are strikes. A strike is a pitch that the umpire thinks crossed the plate at some point, and me and Joe know these things because in our day the umpires were always right.
They were more focused on his “bulldog mentality” than they were on his mediocre start.
Ya see the key to good hitting is to get a favorable count so you can anticipate the next pitch. And I still can’t believe that more multiple run innings happen when the leadoff hitter hits a home run vs. drawing a walk
Tim, if it weren’t for Artie Lang….you would be the first person I am going to kill when I finally snap
You ain’t seen nothing.
Wait ’til you see me and Joe Morgan go from the ridiculous to the sublime on Sunday night!
What will be amazing about tonight’s game is this: Jon Miller and Joe Morgan have such dulcet, smooth tones to their voice, whilst Orel Hershiser, if he’s allowed to speak, does not.
And yet listening to Hershiser doesn’t make me want to kill myself. Listening to Miller and Morgan, on the other hand…yea, it’s an option.
The Yankees are a good team. They’re just not as good as my Big Red Machine teams are the 70′s.
yah dude wicked sick to pick on the most clutch playa evah! i’m so mad i’m gonna go beat my wife who’s also my sistah bro.
Ever see Ortiz’ 1997 Twins baseball card, aka david arias, he looks slimmer.
On Sunday nite Morgan said that he thought Beckett had “good stuff.” This was in the 5th inning, with 10 hits recorded. Hmmmm. So that’s 12 outs and 12 baserunners (2 walks). That’s an on-base ratio of 1-1. Morgan was once again calling and commenting on the game he thought he was watching, not the game actually being played on the field.
