Pedro Feliciano, still suffering from soreness in a muscle behind his left shoulder, will not pick up a baseball for the next 10 days in the hope that rest will cure what so far, the Yankees have been unable to.
“It’s not healing as quick as we would like,” said Joe Girardi, who said that realistically, Feliciano will not pitch for a minimum of three weeks and probably longer.

FU Baltimore March 29, 2011 23:51
Left shoulder problems, and the Yankees don’t know how to heal it. Sounds promising.

But leave it to the Yankees to sign a 34-year old reliever with the expectations that he’d continue to stay healthy.
CT Yank March 30, 2011 16:34
In Wally Matthews chat today, someone said that theyre charging DOUBLE for beers after the 6th inning…is this true?
I know they stop selling em after the 7th, but regardless…
Also, theyre putting up screens when Jeter comes to bat when hes approaching 3,000? Anyone know the details on this?

Taste my ass Cashman Apologists March 31, 2011 12:19
The fact that he threw a ton of innings last year doesn’t make this a stupid move, it’s signing a second LOOGY to a team that’s going to need innings from it’s bullpen because the rotation is so shitty. And WAY overpaying for it on top of that. Even assuming he was healthy there’s no way you count on an NL East LOOGY’s who throws 87mph transitioning to the AL East. This deal is dumber than Soriano in my opinion, but I’m not surprised, Cashman just flat out sucks when it comes to pitching.
