not saying either, just mocking them for being reactionary when the signing first happened and automatically blasting it instead of realizing that it was zero risk/potentially decent reward signing (i know not everything is low risk/high reward) clearly theres no high reward here with chavez but someone who took a breath when he was signed could have realized huh, maybe this guy can be good as a back up corner infielder with solid glove/decent bat off bench if he can stay healthy. and theres no risk. for a site that prides itself on its baseball analysis, esp with transactions, they should be called out when they made a knee jerk reaction to a potentially decent signing that looks like it has since proved to be a decent idea.
