Cunts. That’s all. Cunts. Unless they go all 2009 and wake up and go and massacre the league and the Red Sox from here on, in which case GO YANKEES! WOOOOH!
Cash should get GM of the Year for creating this wonderful team. I don’t understand why people think he’s a good gm. The greatest asset he brings is using the Yankees money to overpay for stars. I still don’t understand why he didn’t want to trade Joba for Dan Haren. I think they should go in a different direction and try to find a better GM. I am pretty sure they can attract someone better with all the resources they have.
Seeing that his contract is up after the season and the rest of the front office has overruled him on some decisions of late (Soriano) I think he may leave town on his own.
Yeah cause Cash’s bullpen signing was sooooo much better then Soriano, Feliciano a guy who is a LOOGY that Cash gave setup guy money to and who according to Cash himself was abused by the Mets and who we will literally get ZERO from during the length of the contract. Soriano might actually come back and pitch well.
I love how Nomaas brings up the Soriano/Levine thing at every turn but never mentions the AWFUL move that was Feliciano.
I mean just the thought of giving a fuccckin LOOGY all that money is INSANE. A guy who pitches to one batter a game!!! But then at least give it to a healthy one.
Agreed, but I am not to impressed with Cashman tenure with the Yankees. I still don’t understand why he didn’t want to trade for Dan Haren or keep Joba as a starter. All he showed me is that he’s really good at giving out huge contract’s to players.
Also, I signed Feliciano because we needed another left handed reliever, preferably one with a modicum of big league success, and he was the only one that fit the bill. BLOW ME!
And btw I would LOVE to see Cash go to another team and without the Yankee money he will be an AWFUL GM. You guys act like hes Billy Beane but the Randy Levine signing Soriano is the only thing holding him back.
Yeah I suck. That’s why I got Nick Swisher and Curtis Granderson for peanuts. That’s also why we have one of the top farm systems in the league. But yeah, I gave a relief pitcher that I thought was healthy a grand total of eight million dollars, I’m sooooooo bad.
Batting average doesn’t mean shit. If you did any research you would see that he’s been incredibly unlucky this year. AND he had a fantastic 2009 and 2010.
I forgot extremely limited sample sizes are a better tool to judge a player than two full seasons. We better trade for Cody Ross and Edger Renteria quick!
Who really cares if he has been unlucky, he is not producing. The good hitters will hit the ball enough times to make sure that luck does not matter.

I like Cashman. But sometimes I have to ask myself how a team who spends 200 million dollars a year can have some of the assholes they do. It isn’t my money, but some of these current contracts..and future ones (CC again)..I just can’t see how they are healthy for this organization. I realize he is handcuffed by bitch ass fans who need Jeter signed through 2021, but grow a sac or leave town. If he is never going to get full control, I prefer he leave town. Maybe if the owners can hire their own GM, they’ll let them do their job.
Cashman signed a guy who lead the AL in Ks the year before he put on pinstripes, and has a no-hitter on his resume. Did Cashman give up 7 runs in 4 innings tonight?
No.
Shut the fuck up.
I can’t name a team who would need Cashman’s services if he left.
However, he will stay because that’s how the Yankees operate. We extend crap.
Meanwhile, what message is Joe G selling that the Yankees aint buying?
I find him so disingenuous in his interviews that I can only imagine that he rubs the players the wrong way as well.
Does anyone get the sense that these players give it the extra go for him? I don’t.

If these pieces of shit aren’t playing as hard as they can already..that says more about them than Joe Girardi. I just think the Red Sox know they’re better and they don’t give a shit where they win these games. The Yankees know it too. It’s disgraceful they let them win 5 in a row at home, and Jeter playing grab ass with Youk. At least some of the Boston players seem to have a genuine dislike for some of the Yankees. Good for them. It’s fucking professional baseball, not beer league softball.
Sorry but I don’t to hear about our farm system. If our farm system is so good why can’t any of them come up to contribute? Posada, hey you need another personal day during a Red Sox series, unless your kid is dying this had better be a good one.

Remember when one of the good things about the Burnett signing was that he pitched well against Boston? Good times.

Currently I would pitch better than Lance Pendleton.

I am not going to defend Cash, but if he leaves town, that would just give Levine/Hank/Hal more power. That doesn’t strike me as an upgrade.
Meet a rock and then say hi to the hard place.

Lets get Billy Beane to agree to come here now and get him to trade us some of his pitching talent for scrap. Kind of like what Gabe Paul did.
Fuck you June 9, 2011 02:27
Who gives a fuck about Feliciano? He makes peanuts compared to Soriano and didn’t cost a draft pick.

Peanuts ? No you gave up IPK who is actually a GOOD pitcher when you couldve traded primadonna Hughes or Joba instead.
You're a dumbfuck June 10, 2011 22:04
IPK has a 3.77 xFIP in the NL WEST! He still kinda sucks.
The fact that you’d rather have IPK rather than Joba or Hughes, tells me you don’t understand the game too well.
Jeff Karstens June 10, 2011 22:08
I’m dominating the NL too? Am I “GOOD” pitcher?
Paul June 9, 2011 08:51
Nick Swisher? The same Nick Swisher whose been hovering over the Mendoza line all year? You’re bragging about that move right now?

Some managers are clearly better motivators than others & ours sucks.
