C. He’s not the worst manger in the game. He knows how to run a bullpen, unlike his predecessor. I love his statistical approach to the game, but he completely overuses it. However, he needs to end the stupid platoon shit and put his foot down and drop Jeter, unless Jeter salvages his season.
Honestly, at the beginning of the season I didn’t think this team, with the rotation it had, was going to do this well in the standings. Does that mean Girardi deserves all the credit for that, most likely not. However, this team has also had a fair deal of injuries to contend with and is currently still inline to make the post season which has to account for something.
Anyway, I don’t agree with everything he does and we aren’t in first place so in my opinion he doesn’t technically deserve an A. Conversely, there are not enough occurrences of where his management style has hurt the team enough to warrant anything lower then a C. To me given the rigidity of a five point scale the difference between B and C comes down to personal opinion and from a fans perspective I can see a justification for either without having to be a douche that chastises someone for their opinion.
Do people think it’s funny to make fun of brain cancer and people who have died? I’m sure you wouldn’t appreciate it if you or someone close to you was dealing with similar circumstances. Disgusting.
