All this talk about how trade demands are sky high and that the Yankees reportedly aren’t winning the Yu Darvish bid, we’d simply like to say…

“You’re running around out there looking for something that’s not even there, and everything you dream of is right here”.
And as a refresher…

I like Jackson, but damn it, he’s AJ 2.0.
AJ Burnett December 18, 2011 22:32
You say that like it’s a bad thing, what’s wrong with having another ace?
CC Sabathia December 18, 2011 22:33

Edwin Jackson December 19, 2011 00:04
I have absolutely nothing in common with AJ.
Mandingo December 19, 2011 09:48
You both date women who like black dong. In Aj’s case, he married one.

Jackson has had games where he was untouchable…Aj has just has stretches in games. I cannot remember too many games AJ dominated an entire game and went deep in it. Jackson has that ability so he isn’t simply AJ#2 he is better!
Mike Axsia December 18, 2011 22:13
As I’ve explicitly said, multiple times…NO. I’ve called Cash on his cell and we agree, E-Jax smells about as good as a restroom after the use of Exlax! Heh, I made a funny. Anyway, there is a non-zero chance the Yanks sign such an unproven pitcher in the AL East. They need a solid guy like Kuroda, Danks or Gio, regardless of the cost, trade or otherwise. Bexy, if your reading, I miss you…please tweet me soon, I miss your mug…my little Pug.
Trade Montero, Manny, Delin, Adams and Nunez for Floyd or Garza, my trade proposal does NOT suck, but I do…

Because you have now brought this up for the third time this offseason, I don’t feel it necessary to say no and refute your arguments yet again… I’m simply going to tell you that I am sitting at my computer and giving NoMaas the finger.

Better idea; why not sign some black players, and have *them* clean out the farm system? And the Fenway lavatories.

If only we could find a way to have them do work for us, without having to pay them…

Curved Slightly December 19, 2011 00:55
And judging by the little chart put together, will NoMaas explain to all it’s readers why the have a massive hard-on for Edwin Jackson and NOT Gavin Floyd?
Must be a black cock thing here on NoMaas…
RoboCop December 19, 2011 00:59
Probably because Jackson would only cost money. To get Floyd, the Yankees would have to give up good prospects.
Curved Slightly December 19, 2011 13:15
I’d rather give up good prospects to get a good pitcher who would be under control this year and next year than spend money on a mediocre pitcher.
Or if it’s just about “money” they can wait until after 2012 when Cain, Hamels, Greinke, Danks and Marcum are all available. No sense in giving a mediocre pitcher $10-13 million a year when better pitchers are available next offseason.

Yeah I get that the Yankees want to move away from big spending and a truly encourage that. Maybe if we bring payroll down far enough we can take the price down on some Yankee stadium seats so that the entire crowd doesn’t suck.
However, I don’t understand what kind of a fart maneuver this is.
The guy would be fairly cheap and clearly an upgrade to our rotation. One guy is always injured or sucking, and EJax is at least on par with Hughes and Nova (in their current state), and he’s better than AJ and Garcia.
There’s really no reason not to pick him up UNLESS we have some secret plot that involves Betances & Banuelos making it to the Bronx next year. Even then he would still be good insurance.
Uncircumsized penis December 19, 2011 09:13
I’d argue he’s better than Nova and Hughes too. Hughes, who the hells knows what you’re going to get? And Nova has only done it one year. Jackson’s been one of the better pitchers in baseball over the last few seasons. He’d be a very nice upgrade like you said.
Mandingo December 19, 2011 09:56
Define fairly cheap? We don’t know if his market is more 5/75 deal or more 3/33 deal yet.

It’s not clear if Cashman is not interested. Lack of EJax news is more a function of Boras wanting to be the last store open than not having interest.
Cash could have let Boras know that when he’s open for business to call him. Boras is smart. He’s going to tell all interested teams soon that he’s got the last train home but the ticket is outrageously expensive!

Didn’t the new CBA increase the luxury tax for 2011? Perhaps that is dissuading the Yankees from spending more than they are already.

Mikes out at one of his neighborhood glory holes for the evening so I figured I’d take over the mailbox. This question comes to us for Andy in Sunny Daytona, Andy asks, “What do the BIG THREE (Mike, Joe and I) do for fun during the offseason?”
Thanks for using the submit a tip box this week Andy and not texting me odd questions, like you normally do. I can’t speak for the other two but I’ll give you some insight on the day in the life of a Jew. In between my study of the bar and my ongoing search for penile enhancement meds that actually work, I normally just use my dads Jew money on meth, coked out strippers and random things on info-ads on TV, such as the slap-chop, snuggies for pets and the shake weight. With the shake-weight that’s a natural motion I’ve gotten used to, when Mikes not around (we’ve already established he love the taste of baby batter) so why not gain muscle mass from it!? I can now curl 230lbs with my right arm! My left arm still somewhat reslembles Olive Oil’s, what is a young spoiled Jew to do? My Yorkie looks so cute in his pink snuggie and the slap chop works great on meth or coke for the strippers! That’s about it! When baseball comes back on we’ve already got the “Stuff Bexy like a Turkey Party” scheduled for opening night! On the roster so far, Mike, Joe, ME, TSJC, Carlosologist and Ted Nelson, we’d love to have you help us stuff that pug looking bitch like a turkey too! RSVP at RAB!
Joe Pawls Dad December 19, 2011 21:49

Me and Joe can do a father/son sandwich
I’ll have to clear it with Joe’s “girlfriend” first
Ben Kabuk December 19, 2011 22:14
The more the better! I only last about forty-five seconds, so I’m just going to use a commercial break to do my stuffing. I’m most excited to see a BBC in action. All Bexy talks about is TSJC any how it’s “not the same anymore”. I’ve also heard about the 13.5 inch Pawl wood, I’m also eager to see the father son BWC ripping that little pigs holes open. I call dibs on eating out the semen medley at the end, I know I’ll physically have to fight Mike over it but if that’s what it takes I’m down.

Go get this KID
