Once again the Yanks have failed to make a notable splash thus far in the offseason, meaning hack writers such as myself have to write columns that are even shittier than normal, if at all possible. The fact that the Yankee organization has made this offseason so boring for me means that this upcoming 2012 team is destined to make a 4th place finish in the AL East for sure. And it makes it more difficult for me to make jabs at their payroll given the fact they aren’t really spending. The fact Bartolo Colon isn’t returning will also ensure that the 2012 Yankees don’t make the playoffs, namely because I won’t be able to scatter immature fat jokes throughout my pathetic articles.
Repubricans and democrats, SAME THING! Sord out to dorrar dorrar birr ya’rr. Biggest worry for them is if Tea Party and occupy hippies wake up and rearize they are protesting same thing. Then you have revorution and hopefurry good communist readers to take care of you.
Global Government? Jesus, why is it, when somebody starts a conversation like this, the red meat just has to get thrown out in the middle of the floor.
Right now this country has become a socialist mecca. For our corporations, the rest of us have to pay their way.
And the Pols in DC are perfectly willing to run it up our collective asses, in order to keep they’re jobs.
Anybody notice there’s no bankers being prosecuted for fraud, they sold all those CDO’s as AAA securities, and then bet they were going to tank? so they get a bailout, and then they get another bailout when we paid out all the AIG insurance at dollar for dollar.
Exactly. Crony capitalism, socialism…whatever you want to call it. Bailouts are not a form a true capitalism. Capitalism would allow those companies to fail. All the pols whore themselves out to the highest bidder. Republicans, Democrats, they’re all whores. You think Obama does what’s in the best interest of the country? Fuck no. Neither does John Boehner. We need some real change in there. Obama is a Wall St. puppet.

The Bush administration allowed Lehman Brothers – just one investment bank – to fail. We’re still recovering from the resulting crisis today.
If you want a government that never engages in a bail out, that government has to enforce strict regulations on very large businesses so they can’t be managed so incompetently that they collapse and send the U.S. economy into recession or worse.
You can’t have it both ways. If you want true free-market capitalism with no bailouts, the result will be stock market collapses, soaring unemployment and frozen credit whenever giant banks or industries go under. If you really want that, I’m not sure why.
as long as the United States permits the Federal Reserve system (an entity which is not Federal, but rather a private, internationally owned institution) then nothing will ever change for the better. The rest (including what you eluded to above) is all window dressing.
Asshole, if you want Ron Paul’s policies, go to Somalia. I hear it’s great this time of year. You can really appreciate the gunpowder and blood in the air.
You don’t know the fucking definition of socialism, nor the difference between a social democracy (What Germany has, that country that’s kicking our ass) and what the Communist retards in the USSR and Cuba did. This is not a socialist mecca. It’s a plutocrat mecca, where wealth directly translates to political power. Crony capitalism and corporatism at its best.
If “American sovereignty” is so important to you, why do you support a candidate whose wishes to abolish all federal regulation?
Do you see “sovereignty” as simply allowing people to do whatever they want (except for get an abortion), regardless of the cost to others currently living and to future generations?
If so, you’re basically advocating that the U.S. become like Somalia. I hear taxes there are very low and they don’t have a Fed system. You might consider moving there, as Ron Paul will never be the Republican nominee for president, so that’s the closest you’ll get to living your dream.
do you know the definition of sovereignty? Not referring to anythin to do with Somalia or any other third-world nation.
I refer to sovereignty in context of the existence of the United States of America. Do you not know, there’s been a plan at hand (near complete) for this nation to be merged with all other nations in the world, to form one global governement? This means a complete loss of sovereignty, Constitution and Bill of Rights etc. In other words, literally no America. And instead world citizenship, and a world governement.
educate yourself. The other know-nothings on this site, need to do the same. Don’t have time to walk individuals by the hand
You retard, Paul’s policies are the fucking 1800′s. It’s nice to go for the “lone wolf” shit until you realize his policies are INSANE. GTFO with that bullshit.
We are currently looking for more shitty weekend writers to write crappy columns for the greatest yankee blog on the internet, the one that I am Editor-in-Chief of. your work is stimulating and just what we’re looking for. Send me your resume and a picture of your penis and I could get you a job as long as you’re okay with having your office in my mom’s basement
I understand the frustration with the Yankees not making another big move, but this is getting tired.
I wrote “another big move” because they already gave Sabathia an extension on the largest pitching contract ever so he wouldn’t opt out. You know you’re a Yankee fan when your team signs a player to the biggest pitching contract ever, then extends that player, and you complain that the team hasn’t made enough big moves.
The lineup, bench and pen are pretty much set, so we’re really just talking about adding a starter. Boras wants 5 years/$60 million for Jackson, who I still don’t see as a frontline guy. Do the Yankees want another multi-year contract to a high-WHIP pitcher on their books?
They will either overpay Kuroda on a one-year deal or swing a trade. Either way the team is just one move away from being in very good shape, and it will make the move when the time is right.
Da New Year’ll bring moah [more] kid touchin’, no question. (Sighs heavily, projecting a false sense of burden at having to waste hours upon hours solidifying his oh-so-brave anti-childrape stance. Dead air.)
Sandusky n Brett Pedroia n dem see the ball drop and think about getting teabagged by a tween. It’s biz-ah. It’s just awd. Da younga da bettah I guess – minahmizes pubic hair in ya mouth.
Hey Willie, it’s Mr. Met. Good morning, oh, and guess what? You’re f***ing fired!! So pack up your crap and get the f*** out the clubhouse, you piece of sh**.
Better. Manny B replaces Burnett by June when Burnett has a “Shoulder Strain”. Hughes reverts back to his 2010 form, like he showed flashes of at the end of the season. Nova continues to improve. CC dominates. Garcia remains steady.
ARod’s German Miracle allows him to contribute again.
Jesus mashes. Thats an upgrade over Jorge.
Better Arod, Maybe Tex can have a correction to his career stat line, jesus over posada, all that may equal a better team.
Look at all that dirty laundry in the background! You should tell your mom to get on that. Or you can just send me all your dirty tighty-whiteys. Editor-in-chief needs it for uh research.

Not to turn nomaas into a political forum, but the NDAA is obscene. Obama is as bad as Bush. Hell, even Bush didn’t sign a law like this.
