Is anyone else wondering what the fuck Ritardi is thinking after our first two series? There have been a number of questionable moves. Walking the bases loaded in extra innings? It worked out this time but we could just as easily be bitching this morning about how the move cost us the game? Overreacting?
Very much so, yes. While everyone appreciates “gut” feel, at some point you do need to pay attention to the match-up and put yourself in the best position to be successful. It was the right move, regardless of whether it worked out. It’s easy to criticize some of his moves and, honestly, some of them just don’t make sense to me. But, then, I’m a dumbass so what do I know?
Clutch HR by Swish. The pen once again picks up the starter. Mo saved the 9th. We’re now even again at .500. Terry Francona shit on the BoSox. (Rightfully so I might add) And that garbage franchise lost again. All in all a good day.
I tend to shit on CC and think his ace ™ status is close to being revoked, but 62 straight games going at least 5 innings? That’s pretty fucking impressive.
