Rapada: 0.2 IP, 2 ER, 2 H, 2 BB, 0 K
Nunez: Error to kick off 1st inning, eventually leading to 2 runs (why are people so infatuated with him??)

We throw a farm team at you last year to let you back into the playoffs and this is the fucking thanks we get?
Brandon April 8, 2012 00:23
In these first two games of the season, we have seen how much Maddon has destroyed Girardi. Our Joe for some reason decides to IBB Sean Rodriguez in the first inning, their Joe places in all these shifts that the offense hits into every fucking time. Kuroda should have been pulled earlier than he was, and Rapada should have been nowhere near the mound to face Longoria when he can’t get out Pena. Our manager is a fucking bozo.

When Brian Cashman is gone can I be your GM? I’d love to see what I can do with an extra $140 million…
Stupid moron April 8, 2012 03:11
And have one of the last draft picks every season instead of a top 5 pick?
Andrew Friedman April 8, 2012 12:24
True Stories:
(1) Last time I had a top 5 pick was 4 years ago, in 2008 draft.
(2) Last time I drafted a stud was 4 years ago, in 2008 draft.

Critics were talking the same garbage when the Yanks started the season 0-2 back in 2009. Turned out to be an OK season.

The (nearly identical) lineup was 3 years younger in 2009.

Kuroda pitched decent last night in his AL debut. If NunEz(Made the E capitalized on purpose) makes that play in the 1st he gets out of the inning unscathed and with a lot less pitches thrown. Perhaps Kuroda could have gone deeper into the game prohibiting Joe Girardi from even having to bring in Clay Rapada to pitch yet alone leaving him in to face Evan Longoria. This game could have gone a lot different.
I blame NunEEEEEEEEEEEz.
Ritardi losses: 2 April 8, 2012 07:02
Lineup fail. If Jeter needs a rest in game 2,he shouldn’t be on the team.
The Truth April 8, 2012 07:30
This was beyond fucking stupid. Honestly why the fuck in NunEEEEEEEZ on this team? Pena may suck with the bat, but he can catch the fucking ball. Hey Joe what the fuck does your binder say about that?
Grampa Jones April 8, 2012 07:38
Don’t forget about me jogging around left field. Golf glove in the 90s!

Someone explain to me again why the Kuroda signing was given two thumbs up. I’d rather have thrown money at Oswalt.
Dope Cashman April 8, 2012 07:36
Kuroda has the guaranteed #2 spot.
The Truth April 8, 2012 08:21
Don’t say anything bad about Cashman Nomaas will say bad things about you and claim that you are not as intelligent as the stat docuhes who worship him. Never use your eyes the the print out is always right.

I guess big joe dumb doesn’t care about defense. Ibanez really needs to play the field in game 3 of the year?
Nick Swisher April 8, 2012 14:17
Man, yknow I really could use a little rest!!! i’ve been working so hard this whole offseason, this is the best shape I’ve been in years!!
messege me on twitter, shoutout to mah CREATURES! HOLLLLAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
Brian S. April 8, 2012 17:49
I thought we weren’t going to allow Ibanez in the field? Make him a platoon DH like Posada was last year. Girardi with the hat trick of mistakes the first three games: intentional walk in the first inning, Clay Rapade allowed to face a righty (Longoria at that), and allowing Ibanez in the field.
Brian S. April 9, 2012 15:04
Rapada is a stud muffin.
Brian S. April 9, 2012 15:52
I like muffintops.
