Two sources told The Trentonian on Wednesday that Dellin Betances, one of the organization’s more heralded prospects, has been sent back to Trenton from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and is active.
Our last edition of MLPW proved to be a bit of a fortune cookie. First, Adam Warren takes home our Pitcher of the Week Award and gets promoted to the bigs. Then, Betances gets demoted to AA after we say this:
Also, we’re not going to update you on Dellin Betances. Just know that he threw another very messy start. Maybe he should be demoted, so he can try to get his head together?
Betances has been a total mess this season, walking 69 batters in 74.1 innings. He’s completely fallen off the tracks.

its the right move, he deserves to be helped appropriately and he cant do it being on the road all the time like our AAA team currently is, he needs stability and to work with a coach that can actually help him not the bums we have.
