He still doesn’t get his uniform dirty like Pedroia does. Cano is a lazy Dominican. Pedroia represents Boston’s blue collar attitude with his scrappiness.
Grounded out in the 1st w/ the bases loaded and no outs. RISP AVG continues to be an issue. He should have over 70 RBI’s by now. But then again, what do RBI’s matter, right?
Hey fuckface, if this happens in the post season and he hits a meaningless solo shot in the 7th inning in a game we lose what will you say then? The guy’s batting average with RISP is worse than your cock to mouth rate. Now shut the fuck up and start sucking.
The fact that the lazy non-power-hitting Robinson Cano got the nod to the All-Star game over the gutty, gritty, plays-the-game-the-right-way Dustin Pedroia is a travesty. Pedroia is projected to finish the 2012 season with a. 675 average, 1209 RBIs and 89 HRs, not to mention he was part of the 2011 Red Sox, a team one September collapse away from being the best team in history, better than the 1927 Yankees. Meanwhile, David Ortiz will go to the All Star Game as the saving grace of the AL squad, and with the help of a generous supply of milkshakes, will lead the AL Team to victory… and lead the 2012 Red Sox to the postseason and the World Series. He will also reclaim his rightful place as HR Derby Chimp.. err I mean Champ.
When ownership has set a hard payroll limit, it would be wise to not pay a reliever $14 million a year, especially when that reliever can be replaced with someone else at much less money.
Can we have a pie chart or bar graph depicting 3rd basemen on Wednesdays? How about the effectiveness of a reliever in the 6th on odd numbered night games that are giving away bobble-heads?
Last I checked when you look back historically, the season statistics seem to matter, not a month.
Same applies to Robbie.
Halfway through the season, Robbie is about as “unclutch” as he could be. Hopefully he will get a shitload of hits with runners on to make up for this nonsense.
How about 1 of them is getting $900,000 while the other is making $29,000,000 this year. That $28,100,00 extra being paid to a league average player would look nicely plugging in other holes this year and in the future.
complainng about Cano makes you a moron July 3, 2012 13:05Reply
Seriously dude has been the best hitter in baseball for the past month. and comparing some stupid made up stat to monthly stats is the worst analogy ever. Why do morons think statistics are hard to understand? OBP just means amount of times you get on base, it doesnt mean we will give you a stat about what guys with a last name starting with O does on a 90 degree day or some stupid shiiit like that. Youre truly an imbecile if you think that, your life probably ended after highschool

Cano career: RISP – .268 / bases loaded – .301
