Things are very good if the only bitching is about trading AJ and George Kontos. The article was completely stupid. Our staff is much better off without AJ’s torturous performances. The other trade have up virtually nothing for something that has worked out well.
It wasn’t stupid article at all. It was two bad trades, regardless of where the Yankees are this season. For a site that gets railed on for their alleged support of Cashman, it’s amazing what happens when they critique him. Everyone gets upset. If you want to read a Yankees blog that ballwashes everything the Yankees do, there are plenty of those.
It was a stupid article. AJ’s stats in Pittsburgh don’t change the fact that getting rid of him was exactly the right thing to do. Kontos would have never pitched here. They wanted a better defensive BUC than Cervelli. It has worked out just fine.
Sometimes trading a player is better for the player and the team that traded him. There’s no way AJ is doing what he’s doing in Pittsburgh in the Bronx. Absolutely no way.
If you hit a man, in time his wounds will heal. If you steal from a man, you can replace what you’ve stolen. But always cross in the green, never in between. Because the honorable Elijah Muhammed Ali floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee. And always remember my brother, one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish, knick knack, paddy whack, give a dog a bone, two thousand, zero, zero, party, oops! Out of time, my bacon smellin’ fine.
The AL East just got interesting. Why? Because Bobby V’s boys are starting to make believer out of everyone. The Yankees and thier $200 million dollar payroll may have a double digit lead, but the Sox will make this a race before the summer turns to fall. Cody Ross, Jacoby Ellsbury and Carl Crawford are an outfield that is ready to dominate. Do you really think Beckett & Lester will pitch this badly for the rest of the year? The Sox are coming and the Yankees know it. Is there a better sports talk radio show than Dennis & Callahan? My boy Bob Ryan can still bring it.
Good Flick. Cubah Goodin’ Junyah, Sameal Jackson, the Icey Cubah…good flick.
I was a little disappointed at first though. I was headin in there thinkin it was about a frennly (friendly) neighbahhood kid touchah. Would make a good seual.

Another win. Things look good, although it is very difficult without George Kontos.
