And oh yeah, Teixeira got hurt — out 1-2 weeks.
Baltimore creeps back into 2nd place with Tampa loss, and now sits 3.5 games behind New York.

You forgot to mention Andruw Jones crawling over to the ball and slowly rolling it back in, allowing the runner to get to third, and then score on a subsequent play.
What was funny is that Michael Kay saying “How did THAT happen?!” Well… you throw a straight dart of a fastball right down the middle to a left-handed hitter who already has 20 home runs– that’s how it happens.

Of course ESPN was excited their beloved Sox are only 9.5 games back of the wild card. Plenty of time to make a run.
