You people just don’t get it. Girardi’s task was to win, while at the same time take a rested and healthy group of veterans into the playoffs. It has been a resounding success on all counts.
Instead, if a guy bats fourth instead of fifth, has a bad game, you second guess about it after the fact.
You lost your mind and are a wannabe rastafarian now. You also recently claimed to be the reincarnation of Bob Marley himself. Oh Snoop… who laced your weed?
Congrats. Who do you want in the division series? Honestly The Rangers have to be in shock. Plus they have our old friend Joe Nathan as closer. Still shitting on Flanny might be fun.
…but it would be nice to see the Orioles make a legitimate post season series.
The Yankees should sweep them, of course, but I’d rather see the Orioles make it.
That said, Texas looks easier to beat right now.

Rather than celebrate the Yankees winning the division on the last day of the season, or the Red Sox suffering a humiliating loss to end a humiliating season, I will complain about NoMaas.
I was at the game last night. I have been to a few games in the new stadium, and was always disappointed with the atmosphere compared to the old place. I figured this was game 162 for the division, this should be a playoff atmosphere. The new place blows hands down. It was super quiet most of the night, chants fizzled out after 5 or 6 repetitions, and the worst part was leaving after the game. I can remember leaving regular season games in the old place and the ramps were rocking with lets go yankees, boston sucks whatever. It was like a fucking funeral in there. Total silence walking out the ramp.
Sorry, but I have no desire to go there again, they really ruined Yankee stadium.

You didn’t build that. Lavish public funding, slavish commercialization, seats priced out of the range of vocal fans.
Seriously, not only a different vibe with my client, but less fun. I went to Camden Yards last weekend with Sox playing Orioles. True, it was Fan Appreciation Weekend. But what an uplifting, exciting atmosphere in the park. Yankee fans are jaded. We have gotten the stadium we deserve.
Sorry pal, but you’re a whiny little girl, who always thinks everything was better in the old days. I’m a season ticket holder, I pay the same per seat as I did in the old stadium, and the fans in my section (RF, main level) are plenty loud. Maybe you’re ears are clogged by the sounds of your whining?

There is no observation too mundane on this site not to draw hostility from someone. I am also a season ticket holder, and the move from Yankee Stadium to the New Yankee Stadium bounced me out of the seats I had, which were Section 16, and which went from around $48 a seat, out to the Bleachers. I pay less sitting in the bleachers, and the seats I used to have go for double what they used to in the old stadium. I attended games in Yankee Stadium before it was re-modeled in the 70s, and anyone who doesn’t notice that the vibe in the New Stadium is different than in stadiums past also probably didn’t notice the concrete “Circle of Greed” behind home plate that by and large sat empty during the regular season of the 2009 World Championship year. Maybe I could hear you better if you took your head out of your ass and looked around instead of constantly shuttling out of your seat to buy overpriced beer and to yell inanities at visiting right fielders
I am glad you like it, but I am sorry you never got to go to old YS, it was really awesome.

Stop pretending to be a “fan”. Look up the definition and realize you are just a fair weather bitch.
“I refuse to go?” Good. Stay the Fuck HOME.
Let someone else have your seat that may actually cheer. Instead of helping increase volume you state is missing, you chose to be absent. You’re part of the problem. Please die… fuckin sheep.
That goes for all you whiny losers. Dont like it? Become a Baltimore Fan… it appears they have a rockin’ house. I’m sure its packed all season long.
douchebags… dont put the NY hat on… give it up. You suck.
Romney, the Yankees, both have ALOT of money and I will continue to write about how evil they both are because of that. My incumbent has no money. Never did.

95 wins with ten or so major injuries. Not bad, although of course the Internet Imbecile Geniuses could have managed the team better.

If the Yankees had followed my brilliant tactics they would have won 100 games! SMH… lick my butt

If they hadn’t had an unusual amount of injuries, they would have won about 105 games. No problem.
