In our interview with Nick Swisher back in 2010:
Oh man, the phrase that comes to mind is “Dream come true.” Never in a million years did I think I’d be a part of the New York Yankees.
And now upon signing with Cleveland:
This is unbelievable. I never in a million years thought I would be in this position. As a little kid you dream about playing in the big leagues, but I don’t know if I ever dreamed about being in a situation like this.

Wait until Joanna Garcia sees this. He used most of this in his wedding vows. He also used this when he got out of a speeding ticket. Perfectly poached eggs? Really good BLT? Free shipping on those Crocs he ordered online? All the same million years bit.

Actually, he said he never thought he’d be on the Yankees, for which he seemed excited. Regarding the Indians, he said he never thought he’d be “in a situation like this”. To me, being in a “situation like this” does not necessarily mean its a good thing. He’s probably shocked that he ended up there, but money is money, after all. The way I see it, those two comments are totally different!
