Eduardo Nunez committed a throwing error on a relatively routine grounder at shortstop on Tuesday. He led a slow-rolling grounder sneak past him to his right. He also looked helter-skelter on a pair of spinning throws in the hole.
Any concerns from Girardi?
Nope, he said.
“I see positive signs,” he said. “Those spin plays are tough plays. When you look at the routine plays, he’s making all of them. He’s throwing the ball well. I said: That’s probably the toughest play a shortstop has to make. And it’s something we’ll continue to work on.”
Truly unbelievable.

I feel like I can honestly play a better shortstop than him just two years removed from high school ball. So many people can play better than him its not even funny.

Nuney can hit and Nuney can run. He is a natural athlete. He has a great but unreliable arm and he is inconsistent in the field BUT watch him get better every year. His team mates love his talent…….Girardi is very patient with him as you guys should be…..He is a lot of fun to watch. He’ll be fine. Just like Cervelli will be fine. These guys are gamers and play with passion. Stop being so fuc#%ng negative.
