In the 37th round, with pick #1,124, the Yankees selected 18-year old right-handed pitcher, Josh Pettitte — the son of Yankees legend Andy Pettitte. Josh is already committed to Baylor University, and it doesn’t sound like he’ll be breaking that commitment:

Josh’s fastball reportedly tops out around 88, so it’s probably best he goes to college and tries to ramp that up.
