Yankees did not optimize their bench options
While it seems to be sacrilege to critique the Yankees front office nowadays (is the Kool-Aid coming south?), we're not afraid to say that Cashman & Co could have used their remaining funds better.

CBS Sports is reporting that Eric Hinske has signed with the Braves on a one-year deal. We wanted the Yankees to re-sign him. When it comes to bench pieces, he's about as good as you're going to find. Why does it seem like every offseason the bench gets neglected?
